Pump Pontoon and Flotation System for Rio Tinto Gladstone

An innovative solution was delivered to Rio Tinto for a recycling weir in Gladstone. A 6m x 2m pump pontoon was built on foam filled Capri floats and supplied alongside a floating suction, HDPE Weir, 800nb bend with installation frame. Adjustable height Capri pipe flotation modules were also added and the project was completed by the in water testing of the Weir and Pipeline support flotation system.
