Mining engineers reviewed the Superior product offering and samples were supplied for review and a quality audit. Impressed with the quality and reliability, the client requested a custom design with a higher flotation ratio due to their pipe size. The team at Superior used new precision tooling and efficiency of production to solve this issue with a higher buoyancy float, perfectly suited to the clients’ specifications. An impressive total of 2000 custom floats were shipped to The Philippines in over sixty 40ft high cubic containers in just over 12 months. These custom designed pipe floats are still being sold to similar clients worldwide.
